The Doors are Opening! Reopening November 8th!

We are ecstatic to announce that the Ride Bikes Wales Pencoed shop will be officially reopening on Friday, November 8th!

Thank you all for your incredible patience during the move. The major work is done, and we can’t wait to show you the new space and get back to serving all your cycling needs.

Website Update: You might notice our website is a little dusty—that's because every spare moment has gone into building this new shop! We ask for your patience as we dedicate our attention to getting the shop running smoothly. We promise the website refresh is coming soon.

Update 11/10/25

So we did not open on the 1st of October as planned, however for a good reason. We saw it as an opportunity change it up, work on the areas we wish we could improve and make the new building a better place to work. That has meant closing for longer to build it how we need it from scratch.

We will reopen towards the end of October with full stock and a great selection of bikes ready for Xmas.

Ride Bikes Wales 2.0

I’m pleased to announce that on October 1st 2025 Ride Bikes Wales will be re-opening at Pencoed- Felindre Court.

We have had a fantastic 13 years here in Talbot Green since opening RBW in 2012, and the time has now come to move on. Our lease expired earlier this year and the building has now been sold.

We are so excited to start fresh and build the shop even better than before. Dan, Mark and I are now focussed on completing the workshop jobs we already have booked in before the big move. We are grateful to all the people who have already offered their help with moving- we will definitely take you up on it! We have paused further workshop bookings for now and will begin booking in repairs and servicing again from 1st October.

We spend more time here than our own homes, and so we can’t wait to develop a welcoming space where we can talk bikes, build bikes, fix bikes, dream about bikes and just feed off your positive cycling energy.

Saturday the 6th of September will be our last day open to the public in Talbot Green. Bikes that have been ordered with us and are due for delivery over the next few weeks can be delivered or collections arranged- just pop us an email on

info@ride-bikes.com to arrange what works best for you.

We can still give you cycle to work quotes etc- and the best way to get in touch with us whilst we are in transition between locations is by email (as above).

You can help us by spreading the word, sharing this post, telling your friends that we are moving and come and see us when we reopen. Also if you have any good memories or photos of the shop over the years- do share with us if so.
